CONventional Comic

#CONventionalcomic

Sakura Con 2017 brought a surprising little thing for us! As the Cosplay Repair Station, we strive to fix up costumes, but we also promote all aspect of cosplay whether it be of construction, safety, and knowledge. Most of all, we want to support cosplayers and their cosplay and what better way than through this little gem that was sent our way!

Please check out Jackie Lo’s CONventional Comic on Cosplay Etiquette!

Jackie Lo’s CONventional comic preview

It’s an adorable short comic that gives tips on cosplay construction and being in the convention space while cosplaying and approaching cosplayers!

While at it, please support the artist!

We will be handing out copies of these comics at our upcoming duo conventions: EverFreeNW and Bellingham Anime Convention so find a copy there!

See you at Con!

2017 ECCC: Hours & Rules

Emerald City Comicon is upon us! Join us for our third year at this wonderful convention. We are located in the same location, Room 308. This year, we are being sponsored by Living Computers. Please be aware that we will be enforcing our rules for this convention due to space limitations without giving up our quick and efficient services.

SakuraCon RM

We are FREE repair, though donation is welcomed. Our staff will be wearing aprons and will assist you in repairs you may need. Staff may refuse any repairs at their discretion.

We would like to remind con attendees of our Repair Station (RS) rules:

  1. Repair only—no construction
  2. Active repairs only—people not actively repairing costumes will be asked to leave
  3. Any wig repair needs to be under 10 minutes.
  4. Only staff can change sewing machine settings (changing needle, thread, etc.)
  5. Attendees may use hot glue unsupervised—all other glues require staff supervision
  6. Supplies may not leave the RS unless the attendee leaves something at the RS as collateral—phone or camera are best
  7. Items may not be left in the RS “waiting to be repaired”—attendees must be with their items at all times
  8. Any item left in the RS by the end of the day will be brought to Lost & Found
